By using Preface you agree to these terms. Preface helps you prepare questions and notes to bring to your clinician.
Not medical advice
Preface is not a doctor, a medical provider, or a substitute for professional care. It does not diagnose, interpret results, or recommend treatment, and nothing it produces is medical advice. Always rely on a qualified clinician for medical decisions.
Not for emergencies
Do not use Preface for emergencies. If you may be having a medical emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room. If you are in crisis, call or text 988 in the US.
Your responsibility
Use Preface thoughtfully and do not rely on it to decide whether something is urgent or serious. That judgment belongs with you and your clinician.
No warranty
Preface is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. To the extent allowed by law, we are not liable for decisions made based on its use.
